Theme & Inspiration
All stories, poems, illustrations, and music must reflect the theme “The Ocean Remembers.”
It can mean anything you imagine — memories, waves, voyages, sea creatures, songs, or emotions that the ocean keeps within its depths.
Story Length
Your story may be up to 2,000 characters (around 300 words) — about one printed page.
It can be a true memory, a fantasy, or a message from the sea itself.
Illustrations
Each participant may send:
-
1 color illustration entered in the Cover Art Competition
-
1 black-and-white illustration — to be printed inside the book alongside the story
Music STORY
Composers may submit up to one page of original music in PDF format, inspired by the theme “The Ocean Remembers.”
It can be a melody, song, or short instrumental idea.
The ocean keeps stories in its waves — songs of wind and light, whispers of sailors, dreams of children who watched the horizon and wondered what lies beyond.
Every drop remembers a sound, a feeling, a journey.
Now it’s your turn to tell what the ocean remembers — through your story, drawing, or music.
